Kentico Website Redesign & Migration For Prominent Gxp Compliance Company

Azzur Group has proudly served life science leaders for the past 30 years, providing solutions to address compliance while accelerating early-phase manufacturers to market quickly. To do this, they needed a website with the tools that could meet the growing need for expediency and efficiency Azzur’s work, and the work of their clients, required in a post-pandemic world.

As we worked on a new website for Azzur Group in Kentico v12, the digital experience platform announced an upcoming update in v13. The deadline for finishing the new site was November 2020, which was after the update’s release. Azzur really wanted to leverage the core update of the latest Kentico version, so that presented us with the challenge to meet the deadline and integrate v13 into the website without losing work or sustaining additional downtime.

Since we were set to complete the website by November, we wrapped up work on the front end and launched it on schedule. Following the site going live, our developers went back to work—this time exclusively on the back end—to update to the latest Kentico (v13). Through Kentico’s platform and staging, we were able to rebuild the back end without affecting the front end and completed the update to v13 February 15, 2021.


By finishing the website in one version and then upgrading it afterwards from the back end, we were able to give the client access to the v13 core updates while allowing the new site to serve its purpose uninterrupted. Even before the upgrade was finished, the site was voted as a ‘top 10 website of the month’ by Kentico Xperience in December 2020.
