Brand Design, Website, & Marketing Development for a Newly Founded Snack Company
The founder of Happy Munch landed on a great name - Happy Munch Factory - that lent itself to be the perfect way to deliver in their mission of crafting treats that bring out the sweetest moments in life. But they needed something more. They needed a brand presence. We took a strategic approach to building off the brand name and their vision to incorporate happiness into their logo, design, social tone, and website. The Citro team knew we needed to come together to develop something impressive for them to build from, grow, and maintain a loyal base of customers.
Our first order of business was to take the vision of Happy Munch and mold it into a brand that encompassed every aspect customers would expect from a snack company…and then some.
We began this mission by focusing on logo design and color choices that would best represent Happy Munch. We decided to use their initial vision of a smiley face and incorporate that into the main logo, and soon after, develop a primary and secondary color palette consisting of bright colors, including yellow, various shades of purple, and some other complementing options. Our goal for color choices was to concentrate on the main color palette and institute other primary and secondary options for when new products are announced - for packaging purposes. Speaking of packaging, we developed the design for that too. Choosing yellow as the main color for the brand seemed to be the perfect fit as it is known as the color of sunshine and happiness.
Once we developed a look and feel for the brand, we worked on messaging. We knew we needed to be upbeat and relay the Happy Munch mission to an audience that was unfamiliar with the brand. Through the power of organic and paid social media, influencer marketing, and email campaigns, Happy Munch continues to grow their brand and customer following.
What is a successful e-commerce brand without a website? Thanks to the brand's tech-savvy founder, our own development masters, and the simplified functionality of Shopify, we created a user-friendly e-commerce experience. Our main objective was to provide a seamless experience for customers when visiting the website, from product search to checkout. Along with being a more simplified experience for developers, Shopify also offered our team the capability to add customized brand attributes, a pop-up for rewards sign-ups, and promo codes for sales.
